One Direction have been sending their best wishes to McFly star Tom Fletcher after he married childhood sweetheart Giovanna Falcone this weekend.

The 1D lads became mates with Tom after he wrote a song for their debut album Up All Night last year.

‘@tommcfly hope today was amazing mate..congratulations. See you soon .x,’ Tweets Harry Styles, 18.

And Niall Horan, 18, writes: ‘@tommcfly congratulations tom! soo happy for you and your lovely wife..see you very soon bro! tuune.’

Tom, 26, and Giovanna wed in front of friends and family – including the rest of McFly, Fearne Cotton, plus the bride’s brother and TOWIE star Mario Falcone – at London’s One Marylebone.

Tom proposed in April last year at London’s Sylvia Young Theatre School, where the couple met at the age of 13 as students.

‘Wow wow wow! Yesterday was the most perfect day ever. So lovely to have our favourite people under one roof to help us celebrate!Xx #married,’ Giovanna, 27, Tweeted yesterday.

Tom Fletcher got married to his long-term girlfriend Giovanna Falcone yesterday, with several guests describing the wedding as ‘perfect’.

The McFly singer tied the knot with his actress girlfriend on a beautiful sunny day, with his three best men and band members Harry Judd, Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones there to lend their support to the happy couple.

Other guests included TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas, Radio presenter Fearne Cotton and brother of the bride Mario Falcone, who was obvs very excited to see his sis get married.

He tweeted: “Off to my sister and @tommcfly wedding… What a beautiful day for a beautiful couple! Love them both so much.”

Friends and family took to Twitter to talk about how great they thought the wedding had been.

One tweeted: “Yesterday @giovannafalcone was the perfect bride and @tommcfly the perfect groom. Honestly. How can a couple be so perfect.”

We’re not sure if the couple have jetted off for their honeymoon yet, but the new Mrs Fletcher was up bright and early, thanking people for their help.

“@zafferanogirl @tommcfly thank you soooo much for all of your help! Loved every second of the day!!! Xxxx” she wrote.

There’s been some dismal spring weather over the past few weeks.
But McFly frontman Tom Fletcher was thrilled today when the sun finally came out for his romantic wedding to childhood sweetheart Giovanna Falcone in central London.
The singer, 26, and his actress bride, 27, tied the knot at One Marylebone, a 19th century, Grade I listed former church built by acclaimed architect Sir John Soane.

Supporting the couple were Tom’s McFly bandmates Harry Judd, Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones – who are all best ‘men’ – and Giovanna’s parents Mario Snr and Kim and siblings Mario and Giorgina – who have all appeared in The Only Way Is Essex.
Also at the wedding were the rest of McFly’s girlfriends, model Georgia Horsley (Danny’s), artist Lara Carew-Jones (Dougie’s) and Escala violinist Izzy Johnston (Harry’s).

TOWIE star Mario Jnr arrived with his girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh, who was wearing a fuchsia ‘Renee’ dress from her Love Lucy X fashion collection and a pair of towering nude Christian Louboutin heels.
Although the bridal party and guests were photographed outside the building, the bride and groom were kept away from the cameras – presumably to protect an exclusive magazine deal.

While the bride was kept under wraps by umbrella as she exited a black and white vintage car, the bridesmaids were seen waiting for her in their pale pink dresses.

Ahead of the ceremony, Tom was joking about on Twitter that he wasn’t sure what his plans were for the day.
He said: ‘I’m sure I’m meant to be doing something today.’
His fiancée was quick to retweet his comment, and joked: ‘Naaah! Just your average boring Saturday! Xxxx.’

At 11am, he wrote one last Twitter message before heading off to the ceremony: ‘Ok, this is probably my last tweet for today. The next time I tweet I will be a married man!…unless @giovannafalcone stands me up…’
Giovanna’s younger brother Mario, 24, was clearly excited about formally welcoming Tom to his Anglo-Italian family.
He tweeted: ‘Off to my sister and @tommcfly wedding… What a beautiful day for a beautiful couple! Love them both so much.’
Mario’s girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh, 20, added: ‘Off to @giovannafalcone & @tommcfly wedding! What a beautiful day .. Gi is going to b the most stunning bride :-) xxx.’

Aside from the TOWIE couple and McFly bandmates, Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas and his actress girlfriend Hannah Tointon, TV presenter Fearne Cotton and boyfriend Jesse Wood.

The couple first met when they were 13 when they were pupils at the Sylvia Young School and started dating eight years ago.
Tom proposed to Giovanna at the school in April 2011 after he lured her there under the pretence he was filming a documentary about his life.

Tom Fletcher is to marry his long-term girlfriend Giovanna Falcone today (May 12).

The McFly singer joked with his bride-to-be on Twitter ahead of the wedding earlier today.

Fletcher tweeted: “I’m sure I’m meant to be doing something today.”

Falcone later replied: “naaah! Just your average boring Saturday! Xxxx (sic).

The couple will be joined by friends and family at the ceremony in London’s Marylebone. Fletcher’s bandmates Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter will act as joint best men.

Just before leaving for the wedding, Fletcher tweeted to his fans: “Ok, this is probably my last tweet for today. The next time I tweet I will be a married man!…unless @giovannafalcone stands me up…..”

Last night, Falcone wrote: “Okay… My dress is hung up nicely, as are the bridesmaid dresses… Everything else is laid out in preparation. I think I’m ready!!!”

Harry Judd also tweeted earlier today: “It’s a beautiful day for a wedding :-)”

The pair became engaged last year after Fletcher proposed in April 2011.

McFly have been working with One Direction for the ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ group’s second LP.
